Research Assistantship (2636-2025)

Qualifications

o Have strong knowledge of data collection,
statistical analysis, and qualitative data analysis.
o Strong ability to conduct a thorough literature
search.
o Strong writing skills to be able to write reports,
literature reviews, and manuscripts.
o Excellent oral and written communication.
o Must possess proficient skills in SPSS, Qualtrics,
and Microsoft Office Suite including Word,
PowerPoint, and Excel.
o Able to work independently as well as in a team.
o Willing to work remotely and meet on campus a
minimum of 4 times per month.
o Nursing or psychology student preferred.

Position Description

Assist in conducting and/or updating a literature
review on varied topics including women's health,
infant health, and breastfeeding. Assist with
study design, data collection, data entry, data
analysis, scoring of survey instruments, and other
related activities as needed to enhance the
next steps of the study. Assist with manuscript
generation/updates.
Performs scholarly activities, such as conducting
experiments; organizing or analyzing data;
presenting findings; collaborating with others
in preparing publications, poster presentations,
or productions; and conducting institutional
research for an academic or administrative unit.
