• - Enrollment in 6+ graduate credit hours; good academic standing. Preference given to students in SIUE Graduate Nurse Educator program, second preference to students enrolled in other SIUE SON graduate programs.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
The Grant and Simulation Teaching Assistant supports undergraduate and graduate simulation-based learning activities across the School of Nursing. This role assists with planning, setup, operation, tear-down, and evaluation of simulation experiences aligned with HRSA grant activities. This Teaching Assistant will also support all grant project team members with recruitment visits and camps and any programmatic objectives as needed.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with planning and preparation of simulation scenarios, equipment, and skills activities.
• Facilitate set-up, tear-down, cleaning, inventory, and restocking.
• Support delivery of rural satellite simulation experiences, recruitment visits and camps, and other grant-related activities.
• Provide learner support during recruitment and simulation activities.
• Provide support for grant team members related to other grant programmatic objectives (including evaluation, reporting, communications with partners
