Qualifications

• Graduate level student in Social Work or related discipline

• Ability to skillfully use technology to design and develop engaging online training and orientation modules for practicum supervisors.

• Ability to design and disseminate surveys

• Ability to collect, input, and analyze data (excel or SPSS)

• Ability to conduct thorough literature reviews

• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams, Zoom, and Qualtrics

• Strong organization, time management, and writing skills

Position Description

This Graduate Assistantship is funded through the Health Resources and Service Administration (HRSA) Behavioral Health Workforce Education Training (BHWET) Grant. All work will be directly related to the grant project activities and evaluation. The research assistant will be expected to contribute to the project by executing the following responsibilities:

• Attend in-person and virtual meetings related to the grant project and activities

• Develop & disseminate marketing materials to notify students about BHWET funded practicum placements

• Assist the Department of Social Work Practicum Office in maintaining records related to BHWET practicum placements and BHWET students

• Assist the Department of Social Work Practicum Office in developing and conducting trainings and orientations for practicum supervisors.

• Assist Project Investigators in planning, executing, and evaluating training simulations for student trainees, practicum supervisors, and nurse preceptors using Mursion software

• Connect student trainees to behavioral health workforce recruiters

• Collect data from BHWET project graduates

• Assist Project Investigators in planning, executing, and evaluating educational booster sessions and continuing education events for BHWET Scholars, social work practicum supervisors, and advanced practice nursing preceptors.

• Assist Project Investigators in planning, executing, and evaluating an annual CEU conference and student symposium

• Assist Project Investigators in administrative tasks as needed.
