Requirements for Nursing, Pharmacy and Dental Medicine
In order to be admitted to the University, nursing and pharmacy students must comply with the immunization requirement for all accepted students.
School of Nursing
Nursing students are to meet several health requirements for admission into the SON. Please see the SON webpage for health mandates.
All of the required health-related records must be downloaded into the School of Nursing designated web portal which will clear you to participate. All of the requirements can be completed in Health Service & the student will be given copies to download per School of Nursing directions.
School of Pharmacy
Pharmacy students are to meet several health requirements for admission and progression in the SOP. Please see this link for the official health requirements listed under Experiential Education Requirements.
The School of Pharmacy will collect your health data and issue your clearance to participate. The School of Pharmacy’s health record system and Health Service’s health record system do not communicate so you must maintain records in both locations.
All health requirements can be completed in Health Service and a copy your records can be downloaded from Cougar Care, sent by campus mail, or picked up by the student.
School of Dental Medicine
Dental medicine students are to meet several health requirements for admission into the SDM. Please view the Immunization Notice for the official health mandates.
