Sumitra is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Computer Science at SIUE. Originally from Nepal, Sumitra holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Information Technology from Tribhuvan University.
Dedicated to community service, she has excelled as Treasurer of the Nepali Student Association and actively participates in the International Student Mentorship Program.
In her role as a Graduate Assistant for International Affairs, Sumitra supports international and domestic students through programs like NISSS and Study Abroad, as well as assisting with SSN/job offers, OPT, and website/Qualtrics maintenance.
