Timanye joined the ISSS team in November 2022. She oversees routine student immigration procedures such as transfers, travel signatures, new student immigration check-in, reporting, and maintaining various databases. She also assists and facilitates study abroad programs. In 2013, Timanye first became an employee of SIUE as an Admissions and Records Officer but also has experience as an Office Support Specialist and an Academic Advisor. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English/Secondary Education from McKendree University and a Master of Arts degree in School Counseling from Lindenwood University.
