Information Security
Information Security serves in an advisory role to the CIO providing policy, incident response, and risk assessment to promote the protection of SIUE information assets. Information Security is committed to the protection of SIUE information assets by developing a culture of security awareness, regulatory compliance, and privacy protection. Through the use of policy, technical controls, training, security best practices and by partnering with SIUE students, faculty, staff and law enforcement, Information Security helps ITS provide a safe computing environment for the SIUE community.
