Lisa Johnson is the Program Supervisor for Supplemental Instruction. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from SUNY Binghamton in 2002. After beginning her career as a Field Service Engineer, where she was part of a team maintaining SCADA systems for the Port Authority and NYC DEP, she chose to step away from engineering to raise her two children.
Lisa is actively involved with the SIUE Suzuki Strings Program and serves on the board of the Edwardsville Orchestra Boosters. In recent years she has also mentored her children’s robotics teams.
In her current role, she supports the Supplemental Instruction program by managing Blackboard, overseeing the hiring and training of SI Leaders, and handling day-to-day operations.
