About APhA-ASP
The American Pharmacists Association (APhA), founded in 1852 as the American Pharmaceutical Association, represents more than 57,000 practicing pharmacists, pharmaceutical scientists, student pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and others interested in advancing the profession.
APhA-ASP is the American Pharmacist Association-Academy of Student Pharmacist. Currently, more than 26,000 student pharmacists from each of the 92 schools and colleges of pharmacy nationwide are members of APhA.
APhA-ASP plays a key role in helping students navigate through pharmacy school, explore careers in pharmacy, and connect with others in the profession.
SIUE received its APhA-ASP Charter in 2006 at the APhA annual meeting in San Francisco.
