Family Medicine Clinic and Pharmacy in Jacmel
SIUE SOP partners with Hands Helping Haiti Medical Mission team out of Lacon, IL for an opportunity to travel to Jacmel, Haiti for 7 to 10 days. During this APPE, students provide care to a rural underserved community through a pop-up family medicine clinic and pharmacy in Haiti. While in the US, students spend time working on population health-focused initiatives within the homeless community in St. Louis. This experience is sure to enhance team building skills and compassion within patient care. You can view the video from the 2017 trip here.
