Annual Performance Reports
Based on the Undergraduate, Graduate and Professional Program Assessment Plan, each program will submit an Annual Performance Report to the Office of Academic Innovation and Effectiveness. The annual performance report will include tables of summarized data derived from the performance indicators or assessments. In addition, the program will discuss the conclusions drawn from the data and then identify whether student outcomes are being met, as well as outline changes made to the program based on the data provided. The Annual Performance Report will allow units to communicate their results and document a culture of evidence-based decision making. This is an ongoing process that requires continuous reflection and reevaluation as to whether:
- Student learning outcomes are being met
- Improvement is being made in individual programs
Annual Performance Reports will be due to the Office of Academic Innovation and Effectiveness the second Monday in October. Reports are reviewed by the Assistant Provost for Academic Innovation and Effectiveness. If there is an area of concern, units receive feedback from the Assistant Provost. These reports are used as the basis for an institutional report submitted to the Chancellor providing data for long-term goals related to student engagement and program quality. Report data is also provided to the Higher Learning Commission as evidence of continuous improvement efforts.
