TRANSFERRING INTO THE JOHN MARTINSON HONORS PROGRAM

Application Deadlines 

For transfer students, admissions are done on a rolling basis, although we may wait for the completion of the current semester to finalize any offers. 

• Fall entry: August 1 
• Spring entry: December 15 

Application Standards 

For transfer applications, we only focus on your college-earned credentials (GPA). Typically, we want students to meet a GPA of at least 3.2 to apply, but we review every application.

Application Process 

There are two options for transfer students: 

• If you are already enrolled in an honors program at your current college, you can apply with our Transfer Express Application, which outlines your program, honors courses and your interests in honors at SIUE.
• If you are not in an honors program at your current institution, you can apply with our SIUE Honors Application for Transfer Students.
