Born in the Deep South, 'baptized and saved' by the music at the age of 5, and never looked back. Musician, Music Industry Professional, Store Owner, St. Louis Hall of Fame Radio DJ, Promoter, Journalist, Record Label Owner, known in music circles as The Soul Selector.
As a radio veteran of 30-plus years, Tom Ray brings his unique music perspective to WSIE listeners, focusing on blues cuts that are not rock-based. His life has been totally immersed in music, from professional deejay work to ownership of Vintage Vinyl. He also performs regularly with local blues groups on vocals/harmonica.
