A proud JazzU alumnus and rising force on the national jazz scene, drummer Roman Wells II is making waves with his dynamic sound and infectious spirit. Recently selected for the 2025 Jazz Aspen Big Band led by Christian McBride, Roman is quickly building a name for himself, performing alongside legends like Denise Thimes, Bobby Watson, Keyon Harrold, Marquis Hill, and Terrace Martin.
