This progressive all-star ensemble unites alumni of Davis’ groundbreaking bands with a new generation of trailblazing artists, creating a unique dialogue between past and future. As the only Midwest stop on M.E.B.’s international tour with the Miles Davis Estate, this is a rare opportunity to witness jazz history!
Conceived and led by Emmy and GRAMMY Award-winning producer and drummer Vince Wilburn Jr., Miles Davis’ nephew and former collaborator, M.E.B. revisits repertoire from Davis’ electrifying era with fresh perspective. Joined by acclaimed trumpeter Keyon Harrold and an eclectic roster of standout musicians, the ensemble pushes the boundaries of modern jazz while honoring Davis with reverence and creativity. This exclusive five night run is an immersive sonic experience that captures the restless innovation of Miles Davis while forging new musical frontiers.
