This unique St. Louis project brings Trumpet, Vocalist, Composer, and Songwriter, Dawn Weber with special guest, Aska Maret on electric violin together. These 2 jazz female musicians from opposite sides of the globe make magic when they are teamed up with some of St. Louis finest rhythm section players. This project called Swunk incorporates the 3 essential elements of Jazz: Swing, Blues, and Improvisation. What is Swunk? Take Swing, Blues, Hip-Hop, Soul and Funk, fuse it together and you get Swunk. St. Louis has such a special music scene and vibe. This original set was written in St. Louis, for St. Louis, and brought to life by St. Louis Musicians.
