The ceremony will begin at 2 p.m. in the Meridian Ballroom of Morris University Center. Parking will be available in the Visitor’s Lot (Lot B), adjacent to the Student Success Center and Morris University Center. If that lot is full, overflow space can be found in Lot C behind Rendleman Hall or Lot E, between the Engineering Building, Dunham Hall, and the Science Buildings siue.edu/maps.
Sponsors are asked to check in and pick up their nametags in the entrance area to the Meridian Ballroom. They also have special designated seating, which will be cordoned off in front of the stage.
After the ceremony, we hope to give sponsors a chance to meet their student awardees. There will be a designated reception and photo area on the second floor of the Morris University Center for the campus photographer to take photos of students and sponsors. We hope this will provide students and sponsors with an opportunity to meet and share in conversation.
The College of Arts and Sciences will mail follow-up materials to sponsors after Honors Day. Additional photos from the event can be found at siue.edu/cas-honors-day.
