Graduation Application Instructions
- Application Deadline: Application for graduation must be completed no later than the first day of the semester that you intend on graduating. However, submission of this form can be completed up to three semesters ahead of time. This form can be obtained from the Graduate Admissions office.
- Changes to Graduation Term: Once the graduation application had been submitted, you must report any changes in the anticipated graduation term in writing to the Service Center, Rendleman Hall Room 1309 or by fax to 618-650-3332 no later than the first day of the term you plan to graduate.
- Submitting the Application: Students can apply for graduation at any time before the application deadline either online through Cougarnet or by paper application. If the $60 application fee is not paid when the application is submitted, it will be billed to the student’s account. Students do not need to wait until they have the $60 before applying. The application may be submitted to the Service Center, Rendleman Hall Room 1309, or you may mail the application with payment of the $60 graduation fee by check or money order payable to SIUE, to the Service Center, Box 1080 SIUE, Edwardsville, IL, 62026.

All MPA students applying for graduation must have a 3.0 GPA in core classes and a 3.0 overall in the program to include electives.
