Our 2025-2026 application cycle is now closed.
The Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine 2025-2026 Application Cycle is now closed. Our 2026-2027 Application Cycle will open on June 2, 2026.
The 2025-2026 Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine Application Cycle began on May 13, 2025 and ended on November 14, 2025.
The SIU School of Dental Medicine participates in the American Dental Education Association's Associated American Dental Schools Application Service (ADEA AADSAS). The 2026-2027 ADEA AADSAS Application Cycle will open on May 12, 2026. The ADEA AADSAS Application Portal will open for submissions on June 2, 2026. The Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine will open our 2026-2027 Application Cycle on June 2, 2026. Please do not submit any materials to ADEA AADSAS or the SIU School of Dental Medicine prior to June 2, 2026.

Applications for admission to the Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine may be submitted starting on June 2nd of the year preceding matriculation. APPLICATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY AADSAS NO LATER THAN November 13th in order for applicants to be considered for admission to the following year's class. Early application is to the individual's advantage and is strongly encouraged by the SIU School of Dental Medicine.

Interviews are conducted from September to February by invitation
