Obtain a U.S. License to Practice
The International Advanced Placement Program (IAPP) at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine (SIU SDM) is designed to enable qualified dentists who have graduated from an international dental school to pursue a Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree at our institution. This degree will allow the holder to take licensure examinations and to obtain a license to practice in the United States.
The program will accept its 11th class in 2025, with a beginning date of February 9, 2026.
