Clinical Certification Course
Successful completion of the three-month Clinical Certification Course (CCC) is a requirement prior to integration of a candidate into the DMD program of the SDM. Since all candidates will have successfully completed NBDE Part 1, the emphasis of the CCC will be to verify that there is congruence with their future classmates in terms of hand skills, knowledge, and treatment philosophies. If a candidate is unable to pass the CCC or withdraws, they will be replaced in the program if possible, or they may be asked to complete additional course work prior to integration into the clinic.
