Special Needs Dentistry
The SIU School of Dental Medicine offers comprehensive dentistry for patients with physical, intellectual, and emotional disabilities and other special healthcare needs. We strive to treat our patients with special needs in the same manner as all patients at the School. Understanding that some needs require special equipment, our Special Needs Patient Care Clinic has the necessary equipment and specially trained providers to deliver top-notch dental care to those patients.
The Special Needs Patient Care Clinic is located in Alton and strives to meet the needs and challenges of special needs children and adults in central and southern Illinois. Medicaid and most dental insurance plans are accepted.
