Meet the Faculty Fellow
Dr. Candace N. Hall is the inaugural faculty fellow for the Chancellor’s Postdoctoral Fellowship program. Hall is an assistant professor in the Department of Educational Leadership whose research program focuses on the experiences of Black faculty. In this role, she enacts her continued research on the recruitment, retention, and support for faculty of color as aligned with the strategic plan. She is interested in attending to the experiences of faculty of color across the SIUE campus to understand their experiences; and help inform administration on promising practices related to recruitment and retention of an excellent and diverse faculty.
