- The Black Psychology and Allies Club intends to create a heightened voice for Black students within the Psychology Department of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. We utilize the principles of honesty, integrity, and active listening thus promoting an open dialog for all members to learn and grow cooperatively. We proclaim that we will promote racial and cultural equality and mental health awareness concerning communities of color. As an academic organization, we encourage equity throughout all curriculum-based resources and opportunities. The organization is not limited to students of color within the Psychology Department. We encourage all SIUE students, faculty, and staff that are interested to join.
- Faculty Advisors: Drs. Rachel Bradley and Jonathan Pettibone
- GO CAPS (Graduate Organization for Child and Adolescent Psychology Students) is an organization of graduate students enrolled in the Clinical Child and School Psychology Program dedicated to providing future clinical child and school psychologists with opportunities to collaborate with one another and build a professional community during graduate studies in Clinical Child and School Psychology. This purpose will be accomplished via activities focused on advocacy, outreach, and fundraising.
