Founders Hall Renovation - 1/14/19

Facilities Management (FM) is happy to announce the work scheduled over the semester break affecting occupied areas of Founders Hall is complete. This includes work in the 1st floor restrooms, which are back in use. With this being said, building cleanup is, and will continue to be, an ongoing process. If you notice areas that need additional attention, please contact FM customer service at (618) 650-3711.
We have covered the 3rd floor roof over the penthouse with heavy-duty tent material to waterproof lower floors while we construct a new penthouse and roof. We continue to make progress at the towers, as well as with plumbing, mechanical, and electrical work. We will begin replacing windows on the 2nd and 3rd floors soon, with work scheduled to begin in late January.
As your safety and wellbeing are paramount to our mission, FM and Emergency Management and Safety will continue to monitor particulate matter data throughout the building. We expect the next round of results soon, at which time we will share the findings and any actions we take to maintain a safe environment.
