Overview
- Up to $8,400 per academic year (2023-2024)
- Open to Illinois residents with financial need.
- FAFSA needs to be filed as soon as possible after October 1. Priority awarding consideration is provided to returners who file their FAFSA by December 1. The Alternative Application for Illinois Financial Aid can be used in lieu of the FAFSA for noncitizen students who meet the RISE Act criteria.
