NeoEd
NeoEd is the online position management and applicant tracking system used for the Civil Service, Extra-help, and Administrative/Professional Staff position approval and incumbent placement process.
Access for System Users
Department staff who will be responsible for position management and applicant tracking processes will need to have access to the NeoEd system. The typical roles within NeoEd include:
- Hiring Manager - This role will approve the Posting Preview in NeoEd prior to the position being advertised. This role adds raters to the requisition in NeoEd and coordinates candidate review and selection efforts. This role is responsible for submitting the Hiring justification report to EOA. This role has access to all Jobs in NeoEd within the individual’s assigned Department(s). Hiring Managers must fill out a SARF to access NeoEd and be assigned to Departments.
- Rater - This role serves on an interview committee and reviews job applicant information. An individual may serve on multiple Interview Committees representing multiple departments. This role only has access to specified Jobs in NeoEd, not all Jobs for a Department. Raters do not need to submit a SARF for access. The hiring manager should contact Doug James (dojames) if a committee member is not available in the list of available raters.
