Statement on Accessibility
All University web pages must be accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. In order to do this, University web pages must meet the Illinois Information Technology Accessibility Act (IITAA).
- All pages require a title
- All images require alternate text
- Ensure that all content is accessible with use of only a keyboard and/or a screen reader
- Provide an accessible alternative to the content if no other option is available
Pages can easily be checked to see if they meet the IITAA requirements by using the Functional Accessibility Evaluator.
