2024 IMAGINE Summer Success Academy Application
The IMAGINE Summer Success Academy is a 4-day camp scheduled from June 11th to June 14th, 2024, designed for high school students aspiring to pursue a nursing career. The academy offers participants a comprehensive and immersive college experience, including overnight stays in campus housing and access to various school amenities. Support members are welcome to join their students on opening day to learn about SIUE resources that can contribute to their student’s success.
To be eligible for this program, applicants must be at least high school sophomores, express an interest in nursing, and reside in Clinton, Jersey, Madison, Monroe, St. Clair County, Illinois, or other surrounding counties. Successful applicants will earn a stipend for attending the program. To qualify for the full stipend amount, students must submit a completed application and all required materials before the deadline. If selected, they must also reside on campus and participate in the entire program.
All information provided in the application will be carefully reviewed by the faculty and staff of the SIUE School of Nursing to determine acceptance into the 4-day IMAGINE Summer Success Academy. Applicants are encouraged to respond thoughtfully to the four short essay questions, as these will be assessed for admission decision-making. Notification of decisions will be sent to applicants by April 15th, 2024, via the email contact provided in the application.
