SIUE Metro East TBI Support Group
Mission
Providing resources to empower, and a place of support, connection, and education, for survivors of traumatic brain injury (TBI) and their caregivers.
Goal/Description of group
This group serves as a community resource for survivors of brain injury and their caregivers. While this group meets at the SIUE Speech-Language and Hearing Center, it is independent of any services provided through the SIUE Speech-Language and Hearing Center. We aim to provide a space for connection, resources, and personal growth. The format of meetings is largely determined by members and facilitated by graduate students in the Speech-Language Pathology Program, Brenda Cusanelli, and Dr. Steffany Chleboun, PhD, CCC-SLP. All are welcome!
