Check the links at left for scholarships for your Study Abroad experience. Note that scholarships are offered for financial need, for scholarly performance, or even for certain locations.
Most study abroad providers, e.g. AIFS, CEA, ISA, have a variety of scholarships available as well.

Students who receive SIUE Academic Merit Scholarships

- Cougar Pride
for study at SIUE may elect to use one semester of their scholarship toward study abroad.
For ISEP Exchange programs, the Meridian Scholarship can be used to cover the ISEP fee and tuition for one semester of study abroad equivalent to at least 12 credit hours at SIUE. For all other semester programs, the Meridian Scholarship carries a value of $5,000 for one semester of study abroad equivalent to at least 12 credit hours at SIUE.
When applied toward a 12-credit minimum semester of study abroad, the Provost, Cougar Pride and Johnetta Haley Scholarships carry an award value equivalent to the scholarship award amount the student receives for study on campus at SIUE.
These scholarships do not apply to summer programs.
