Cougar Village Fitness Room

Located on the lower level of the Cougar Village Commons next to Eddie’s Kitchen (exterior entrance only)

• The Cougar Village fitness room is accessible only to Cougar Village residents with their valid SIUE ID card at all hours that the Cougar Village Commons building is open.
• A selection of cardiovascular and strength equipment in addition to other supplemental fitness accessories are available.
• TV with cable entertainment package is also included.

E-Sports Arena

Located on the first floor level of Bluff Hall

• The E-Sports Arena is open to all current SIUE students by swiping their ID to access the facility.
• The e-sports arena has 12 gaming computers with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 graphics cards, Intel Core i5-8400 processors, a few dedicated console gaming stations, 5 bring-your-own console stations all with dedicated gaming chairs at each station.

Residence Hall Fitness Rooms

Located on the first floor level of Woodland, Prairie, and Evergreen Halls

• The Residence Hall fitness rooms are accessible 24/7 to residents of each hall with their valid SIUE ID card.
• A selection of cardiovascular equipment and other supplemental fitness accessories are available in each fitness room.
• TV’s with cable entertainment packages are also included in each fitness room.

Student Success Center Fitness Room

Located on the lower level of the Student Success Center, Room 0206.

• The SSC Fitness Room provides expanded hours to all Students and SFC Members by following the hours of the Morris University Center. A valid SIUE ID card is needed to access the space.
• A selection of cardiovascular equipment, a dual adjustable pulley, and a stretching mat are available for use.
• Faculty/Staff may take advantage of a Student Success Center Fitness Room Only Membership for $60/year.

School of Dental Medicine Fitness Zone

Located on the lower level of Building #282 Multidisciplinary Lab on the corner of College Ave and Annex St. in Alton, IL.

• The Fitness Zone is accessible to Dental School Students and Dental School Faculty/Staff Student Fitness Zone members at all hours that Hoag Hall is open with their SIUE ID card.
• Restroom/shower facilities are included within the Fitness Zone Membership.
• 10 selectorized strength equipment pieces are available, providing a safe and effective weighted workout option for the beginner to the advanced user.
• A dual adjustable pulley station
• 15 pieces of cardiovascular equipment, including treadmills, two different elliptical type options, a lateral trainer, and upright, recumbent, and SPINNING® bikes
• Kettle balls
• Stability balls
• Activity mats
• Stretching equipment
• Pull up bar
• Plyometric box
• 3 HDTVs with DVD/Blu-ray players
• Overhead fans
