Graduate Periodontics Program
Program Introduction
The Graduate Periodontics Program at SIU School of Dental Medicine is a 36-month, full-time certificate residency that prepares residents for specialty practice in periodontics and for the board-certification pathway. The program holds CODA Initial Accreditation, granted February 5, 2026, and integrates evidence-based, patient-centered clinical care with advanced biomedical science, scholarly inquiry, and professional development.
