KaLonny is originally from North Dakota and earned a BS in child development from North Dakota State University. Before coming to SOAR, she was a preschool teacher, a school secretary, and a mom. KaLonny enjoys being a part of the growth that occurs as students find their way through the college experience. She was inspired to return to school herself and completed the Higher Education Student Affairs MSEd program at SIUE in May 2023.
