The Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) is the leading voice for special and gifted education. Through the vision and dedication of more than 29,000 members, CEC sets the standard for high-quality education for children and youth with exceptionalities.
Joining the SIUE student chapter of CEC provides professional development, resources and peer-to-peer support to help students meet today’s new challenges in special education with confidence and make a difference for children and youth with disabilities.
