Mission Statements
- Provide external feedback on curricular development areas in order to better prepare our students for their future career.
- Participate in the creation and evaluation of strategies to achieve the vision of the department.
- Solicit funds to support facilities, research, scholarships, and other projects.
- Assist with career placement and attend student events
- The board will meet at least two times a year to review progress toward the program objectives
The duration of an active board member's participation is two years, at the conclusion of which the member may choose to continue on the board for another term (there is no term limit). The department chair will assess the participation of inactive board members before discussing it with the active members. The chair of the board works with the chair of the Department of Industrial Engineering to direct the board's activities.
