Lactation Spaces
If any of the below permanent spaces is not functional for your needs, you can seek an accommodation for access to a private space with a locked door and electrical outlets for up to one year by completing the Pregnancy/Parental Accommodation Request Form or contacting the EOA Office.
There are currently four permanent lactation spaces available.
Morris University Center
- Located in the “green room,” inside the southeast entrance (near Starbucks), to the left, adjacent to the restrooms
- To gain access to this room, request the key from the MUC help desk located across from the Cougar Bookstore
- The help desk is open during fall and spring semesters from 7AM to 10PM and during the summer from 8AM to 6PM

Peck Hall
- Located in room 1414
- To gain access to this room, check out a key from Facilities Management’s Peck Hall office, room 7002
- The Facilities Management office is open from 7AM to 11PM Monday-Friday, Saturday 7AM to 5:30PM on Saturdays, and 12PM to 5:30PM on Sundays in the fall and spring semesters
- If no one is in the office, request an operating engineer to unlock the door by calling 618-650-3711 or 618-650-3126
Vadalabene Center
- Located in nursing/changing room, room 1120, near equipment issue, next to two family friendly/gender-neutral restrooms
- No check in process to use this room
- This room is available from 7AM-10PM Monday-Friday, 10AM-5PM on Saturdays, and 1PM to 8PM on Sundays during the fall and spring semesters
Health Sciences
- Located in room 2127
- No check in process to use this room
- This room is available from 7AM-11PM Monday-Friday, 7AM-5:30PM on Saturdays, and 12PM to 5:30PM on Sundays during the fall and spring semesters
