Training and Prevention
Student Trainings
- The 2026-2027 mandatory Sexual Assault Prevention Training pretest can be found here. The SIUE Sexual Violence Prevention course fulfills legal requirements and teaches participants about sex-based discrimination, strategies to prevent it, and where to go to seek resources for support should you, or someone you know, experience it. The training also aligns with the University’s commitment to maintaining a community in which students, faculty, and staff can work and learn together in an atmosphere free of all forms of discrimination and violence, including sexual assault and harassment. The pretest, training, and posttest must be completed before a student can register for classes.
Employee Trainings
- SIUE is committed to creating and maintaining an equitable campus free of harassment, discrimination, sexual harassment, and sexual violence. Trainings to ensure this are conducted through The State University of New York-Student Conduct Institute (SUNY-SCI) for the Title IX Coordinator, Title IX Team, and Title IX Hearing Panelists.
