Reserve a Space
The Center for Faculty Development and Innovation can be accessed by faculty on a walk-in basis whenever Lovejoy Library is open. Spaces can be reserved for specific faculty development events* including:
- Faculty development workshops
- Faculty development webinars
- Writing groups
- Faculty book clubs
- Faculty study/workspace
- Learning communities
- Faculty discussion groups
- Faculty consultations (e.g. peer research consultation)
To reserve one of the spaces, fill out this form. You will receive an email to finalize the arrangements. If you need to reserve a room for multiple dates, please email the Faculty Center at facultycenter@siue.edu.
*The CFDI prioritizes faculty development events and drop-in space for faculty work. Space cannot be reserved in advance for planned events that are not directly related to university faculty development (e.g. department meetings, accreditation events). However, if you contact us within two (2) weeks prior to your event, we are happy to check to see if we can accommodate your request.
How Do I Enter?
The CFDI doors are locked at all times. To enter the Center, swipe your faculty ID or use the CBORD Mobile ID app. Walk-ins are welcome provided that open space is available.
