Employee Recognition Program
The Employee Recognition Program was established in July 1998 and is designed to recognize staff for their exceptional accomplishments and service to the university.
Employees must be employed in their current position for two years and not have received the award within the last five years in order to be nominated for the award. Nominations can be made by faculty, staff, or students, but the nomination must be supported by the supervisor.
Nominations are accepted on an ongoing basis. Recipients of the award receive a certificate, recognition on the Digital Signage (Monitors) in the Morris University Center, a special parking space for one (1) month close to their work, a $25 gift certificate to the Cougar Bookstore, and two complimentary lunch coupons for dining in the Morris University Center. All recipients of the award are acknowledged at the annual service awards reception.
