New Employees
There is so much to think about when you start a new career, particularly one in a new community. We are here to assist you with your transition to life at SIUE. The following resources may be helpful in both your work and personal life.
Onboarding and General Information
Civil Service employees will attend an onboarding session with the Human Resources team prior to their start date. Administrative/Professional Staff and Faculty will be on-boarded through their respective departments. At these sessions, employees will complete their hiring paperwork and may be given information on university services such as parking, benefits and department resources.
As an extension of your onboarding process, we invite all new employees to complete the SIUE 101 New Employee Training. This slide show provides an outline regarding various departments here at SIUE. These departments offer valuable services we feel you should be informed about so you can help provide a complete experience to our students, as well as providing valuable knowledge to you as an employee here at the university.
