Online Bachelor's Degree Program Admitted Student Checklist
Congratulations on your decision to complete your bachelor's degree at SIUE! Please review the following information carefully to complete your enrollment.
- Complete Online Student Orientation.
- Obtain your e-ID (used for email and other campus accounts).
- Contact the ITS Help Desk if you run into any issues activating your accounts.
- Check your SIUE email often. Important details regarding financial aid, payment information and updates will be sent to your email.
- Take placement assessments if needed. Get more details and register for an assessment.
- Request your final official college transcripts reflecting all grades and any degrees earned to:

- Transcripts received from a student will not be considered official. Intentional nondisclosure of transfer credit may result in dismissal from the University.
Additional Information
- Explore CougarNet which is the secure way to manage your personal, academic and financial aid information.
- Apply for financial aid as soon as possible. (SIUE FAFSA code: 001759). Also, check out our scholarship opportunities.
- Review your transfer credit on CougarNet. Transfer credit information is available approximately 15 working days after admission. Additional details can be found on the Transfer website.
- Connect with the Office of Accessible Campus Community and Equitable Student Support (ACCESS) to request reasonable accommodations.
- Order your textbooks through Textbook Services once class registration is complete. Search for your required course materials on the textbook rental website.
- Complete U Got This! Online Bystander Intervention Training through Blackboard. Training is required to register for classes.
- Download the SIUE mobile app.
- SIUE has a residency requirement for incoming SIUE students. Please note that students participating in fully online degree completion programs are exempt from this requirement.

Advising and Registration
- All OLDP students must meet with an academic advisor to register for classes.
- Accept the Bursar Financial Agreement and ensure all holds from your account have been cleared.
Business Administration Students - Contact Business Student Services at 618-650-3840 to schedule an advising appointment and register for classes.
Psychology Students - Contact School of Education, Health and Human Behavior advisors at 618-650-3940 or sehhb-advising@siue.edu to schedule an advising appointment and register for classes.
Applied Communication Studies, Criminal Justice, and Online General Education Students - Log into Starfish to schedule an academic advising appointment with your advisor, Nicole Myers.
Integrative Studies Students - Contact your advisor Dawn Huckelberry if you have any questions.
