Faculty Status Committee
The Faculty Status Committee is a standing committee of the Faculty Senate Welfare and Governance Council. This committee is responsible for reviewing the development of policies for faculty evaluation, promotion and tenure, recruitment, employment, discipline, severance and grievance, and to facilitate the activities of the subcommittees of the Faculty Status Committee. The Chair is appointed from among the members of the Welfare and Governance Council by the Council Chair with the approval a majority of the Council, and additional members may be added with the approval of the Council.
