We maintain an open-door policy to provide you with assistance to obtain accurate information and overcome challenges. We will assist you with, or put you in touch with the appropriate resources.  Come in and talk to us about your potential major, employment on campus, and effective strategies for communicating with your instructors. We can introduce you to any necessary health professionals, career counselors, and academic tutors.

You have multiple resources available to you at SIUE, and we are here to serve as one of your most vital connectors, putting you in touch with the right people, places, and additional support systems.

While we may all be different, and may come from different backgrounds, there is a common goal and theme that binds us: we all want to complete this college experience that culminates in a college degree.  You can expect SOAR to help you navigate this new and exciting journey. Over the years, I have worked with thousands of students at SIUE in large part so that I would now have the special opportunity to work with you.
