Committees
- Executive: The Executive Committee is both an action body and a steering committee of the Graduate Council. It acts as the link to the Faculty Senate and its Executive Committee.
- Education and Research Policies: The Education and Research Policies Committee reviews policies and priorities that concern graduate courses and programs, graduate students, graduate faculty, and scholarly activities and support.
- Programs: The Programs Committee makes recommendations to the Graduate Council regarding the program review process and reports, as well as requests for new programs, program changes and program terminations.
- Graduate Committee on Assessment: The Graduate Committee on Assessment reviews program assessment plans to assist programs in preparing for program review and if applicable, accreditation.
- Graduate Course Review: The Graduate Course Review Committee advises the Graduate Council on program modifications that involve adding, dropping and modifying courses.
- Research and Development: The Research and Development Committee reviews applications for funding for the STEP Program and the Vaughnie Lindsay New Investigator Award.
- Research and Projects Advisory Board: The Research and Projects Advisory Board selects the Paul Simon Outstanding Scholar Award and the Hoppe Research Professor Award.
