Upperclass Wing – First-Year Hall Room Types
Returning Resident Housing Application – Current residents need to complete the Returning Resident Application and pay the $200 advance payment by the priority deadline of January 31, 2025. This will reserve your space for Fall 2025 – Spring 2026. Residents will choose what process (LLC, homestead, homestead roommate, upperclass wing or Open Space Selection) on their application.
Cougar Village Homesteading is the opportunity for current Cougar Village residents to reserve the space they currently live in by themselves, with one or more of their current roommates, other University Housing residents or a new Housing resident. Residents who wish to switch from a shared space to a private space or from a private space to a shared space cannot participate in this process.
Evergreen Hall Homesteading is the opportunity for current Evergreen Hall residents to reserve a non-specific space by themselves, with one or more of their current roommates, other University Housing residents or a new Housing resident. For example, residents can reserve their current type of space, i.e. 4 4-person suite, but they cannot reserve a specific unit.
Open Space Selection Process is when residents pick their space in Cougar Village or Evergreen Hall. This includes current residents who want to switch to a different type of space, like moving from a shared to a private room, and residents moving from Bluff, Prairie, or Woodland Hall to Cougar Village or Evergreen. Residents who are homesteading or applied to live in an upper-class wing do not take part in this process.
Residents will be given a day/time to go through the Open Space Selection Process. This will take place February 10, 2025 – February 25, 2025.
