Program Retention and Graduation Rates

The Office of Institutional Research compiles retention and graduation rate reports for each major program at both the Undergraduate and Graduate/Professional Practice levels (except for School of Dental Medicine programs). Select the link for the College/School and Level or Major for the report you wish to access.

New in 2024:

The program persistence rate is now named the program success rate. As before, the success rate is calculated for the academic year using the combination of students in the program who earned degrees and students still enrolled in the program.

Rates are calculated using graduation and enrollment data by academic year and no longer include graduates in the summer following the academic year. This change was made in the interest of efficiency and to provide clarity. The overall success rate should not be affected by this change, the graduation rates for programs with a large number of summer graduates will have notable shifts.

We’ve added a Total line to show the combined rates: First-year and Transfer for Undergraduates, Full- and Part-time for Graduate programs.

Counts that determine the rates have been removed due to FERPA concerns regarding small numbers.
