On-Campus to Online
Moving? Looking for a different experience? Current on-campus SIUE students may transition to one of our fully online undergraduate bachelor's degree programs. Please consider the following before completing the application:
- Students should plan to commit to a fully online experience. These are not hybrid (on-ground and online) programs.
- SIUE offers three fully online minor options. We cannot guarantee a fully online path to complete any minor that is not listed below.*
- Courses for online degree programs have restrictions and you must have an attribute to register. Courses are not guaranteed and offerings vary based on the semester.
*If your current advisor can demonstrate a path to finishing minor requirements in a fully online capacity, we will consider this at admission.
To transition to an online degree program:
- Speak with your current academic advisor.
- Review the admission and degree requirements for the program that you wish to enter.
- Complete the Online Degree Program Intent Form for current students. This will be sent by email from Starfish.
- Your submitted form will be sent to the academic program for review. In addition to admissions requirements, programs may consider your upcoming course needs in their decision.
- Following the review, the Online Student Services team will be in touch with the decision and next steps. Please check your SIUE email for updates.
