Performance Requirements
All courses listed in the pre-pharmacy curriculum must be completed with a minimum grade of "C" prior to enrollment. The Admissions Committee considers all grades earned at the time of submission of the PharmCAS application.
In order to be considered for admission to the professional program, applicants must have a minimum grade point average of 2.75 (on a 4.0 scale) in each of the following:
- Pre-pharmacy curriculum GPA
- Pre-pharmacy mathematics and science GPA
All courses listed in the pre-pharmacy curriculum subject listing must be completed with a minimum grade of "C." In order to be considered for admission to the professional program, the minimum pre-pharmacy, and pre-pharmacy mathematics and science grade point averages must be 2.75. Attaining these minimums does not guarantee consideration, and specific minimums may be modified depending on the size of the applicant pool.
Applications for admissions are evaluated based upon all grades earned at the time of submission of the PharmCAS application.
Students are required to have completed all pre-pharmacy courses by the end of the spring term preceding the intended start date unless granted an exception from the Office of Professional and Student Affairs (OPSA). For example, students applying to enter the SOP in the fall of 2025 must complete all pre-pharmacy courses by the end of spring 2025.
Students who have a total of five or more repeated courses within the pre-pharmacy curriculum will be considered for admission to the program on an individual basis.
Attaining these minimums does not guarantee consideration, and specific minimums may be modified depending on the size of the applicant pool.
