Personnel Committee
The Personnel Committee is a standing committee of the Faculty Senate Rules and Procedures Council. This committee concerns itself with eligibility for membership of the Faculty Senate, reapportionment of Senate seats, the seating and unseating of Senators, and the election of Senate officers. The operation and guidelines for the Personnel Committee is outlined in the operating papers for the Rules and Procedures Council.
The Chairperson of the Personnel Committee is selected from the Rules and Procedures Council members by the Chair with the approval of the majority of the Council. The committee consists of additional members as approved by the Council. Committee members do not need to be currently serving Senators.
